Soup’s On! Coastal Soups Returns to Summer House – Lincoln Park
The seasonal menu is back for carryout and delivery only, just in time for sweater weather
Coastal Soups, Summer House’s popular to-go concept, returns to Chicago’s Lincoln Park on Thursday, September 19, serving up more than a half-dozen homemade soups available by the cup and quart, salads and dip-able sandwiches.
This year, Coastal Soups is offering brand new menu items in addition to the classics from Summer House’s Executive Chef Ben Goodnick. The to-go concept dishes out comfort by the cup or quart for lunch and dinner, seven days a week for carryout and delivery only, with the option to add-on other Summer House favorites, including pizzas, pasta, and more.

Every item on Coastal Soups’ menu is made with locally sourced produce, all-natural chicken, top-quality Brandt Beef, and more. Signatures include Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle, Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with fall-spiced pepitas, Hearty Potato and Leek, and Lobster Bisque with tarragon creme fraiche, along with a special “Chef’s Kettle” Italian Wedding Soup made with prime beef meatballs, greens and parmesan. Coastal Soups can also accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions with selections such as the vegetarian Herbed Tomato Cream, and two gluten-free options, Prime Beef Chili and Gus’ Tortilla Verde.
“We’re looking forward to bringing Coastal Soups back, just as we’re starting to feel the slightest bit of chill in the air,” says Chef Goodnick. “Every soup on the menu is made with the freshest ingredients and ready to make everyone’s fall and winter that much warmer and cozier, not to mention offering an easy weeknight meal whenever you want something comforting and delicious.”
The menu also includes Summer House signature salads like the Spicy Caesar, Shaved Brussels Sprout and Costa Mesa, along with satisfying “Dip-ables”–Buttery Toasted Cheese, Wisconsin cheddar and havarti cheese on sourdough–and the Turkey Melt, with garlic butter and Swiss cheese on Texas toast.
Delivery and carryout from Coastal Soups at Summer House – Lincoln Park is available: Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Friday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM; and Sunday 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
