BEATRIX NOW OPEN IN THE LOOP
This marks the fifth Chicagoland location for the neighborhood coffeehouse and restaurant
Beatrix, the neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, is now open in the Loop at 155 N. Wacker Dr. This is Beatrix’s first full-service location in the Loop and the fifth of its kind. The concept was created by Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners Rita Dever, Susan Weaver and the late John Chiakulas.
With existing locations in Fulton Market, Oak Brook, River North and Streeterville, the new Loop restaurant will offer weekly options tailored to those who live and work in the neighborhood.
Commuters can start their day at Beatrix’s iconic coffee and pastry counter or by grabbing a seat in the welcoming coffee lounge. The coffee bar showcases house blends from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, fresh-squeezed juices, and house-made pastries including the Honey-Butter Cinnamon Roll, Lemon Blueberry Muffin, plus new favorites like the Kale and Cheddar Scone.
For those looking for a business meeting destination or an afternoon bite, the 260-seat indoor and outdoor dining room will be home to new lunch specials including Local Burrata with heirloom cherry tomato and strawberry-rose vinaigrette, Spicy Tuna & Avocado Toast with watermelon radish, crispy quinoa and cucumber salad, Vegan Corn Chowder with asparagus and fresh basil and the Honeydew & Coconut Agua Fresca. Familiar Beatrix lunch favorites including salads, sandwiches, tacos and snacks will also be available.
Exclusive to the Loop location is the new Bar and Lounge menu offered from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Available in the 95-seat bar and coffee lounge, guests can indulge in a variety of healthful comfort food favorites, special priced local beers, select wines, hand-crafted cocktails, coffee drinks and cookies.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Friday for coffee and pastries from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, lunch from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, and happy hour food and drink specials from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.
