Bright, herbal, and subtly spicy

Yield: 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

INGREDIENTS FOR COCKTAIL
¾ oz. lime juice
1 oz. green juice of choice
½ oz. honey syrup, see recipe below
½ oz. chareau aloe liqueur
1 ½ oz. jalapeño-infused mezcal, see recipe below
parsley sprig
Aleppo pepper

INGREDIENTS FOR JALAPEÑO-INFUSED MEZCAL
1 750 ml. bottle mezcal of choice
1 jalapeño, cut in half with seeds

INGREDIENTS FOR HONEY SYRUP
1 cup honey
½ cup water

Method:

METHOD FOR HONEY SYRUP
1. Combine water and honey in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stir until honey is dissolved.
3. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container. The syrup will keep refrigerated for up to 1 month.

METHOD FOR JALAPEÑO-INFUSED MEZCAL
1. Add jalapeño into the bottle of mezcal.
2. Let sit for 24 hours, then strain.
3. Use immediately, or store in a sealed bottle and keep refrigerated.

METHOD FOR COCKTAIL
1. Add lime juice, green juice, honey syrup, aloe liqueur and jalapeño-infused mezcal to a shaker. Shake well without ice.
2. Pour over crushed ice in your desired glass.
3. Garnish with a parsley sprig and sprinkle of Aleppo pepper and serve.
